About GenCraftory
A free collection of AI writing tools. Pick one, answer a few questions, and get a draft in seconds.
What this site is
GenCraftory is a set of 18 writing tools, each built for one job: a resume, a cover letter, an email, a post, a summary, an essay and more. Instead of staring at an empty page or writing your own instructions for an AI, you answer a short form, and the tool does the prompting for you.
It is run by the operator of this site. There are no accounts and no sign-up.
How it works
- You choose a tool and fill in a short form.
- The site combines your answers with a carefully written set of instructions for the tool.
- That is sent to a large language model from an AI provider, and the answer is shown to you.
Two of the tools read PDF files. You can summarize a PDF, or open a chat where you ask questions about it and get answers taken from the document.
What to expect from the results
The text is written by an AI, so it can be wrong, repetitive or out of date, and it can state invented details with confidence. Treat every result as a first draft. Check facts, names and numbers against your own records before you use it, and never submit it as your own work where that isn't allowed. Our writing guides explain how to edit a draft so it is accurate and sounds like you.
How we treat your text
- The text you enter, and the PDFs you upload, are used to produce your result. They are not saved to a database and not added to a profile, because there are no profiles.
- Identical requests may reuse a recent answer for about 10 minutes, to save cost. The Privacy Policy explains this.
- Your text is sent to the AI provider to generate the answer, so avoid entering anything you wouldn't want a service like that to process.
The full details are in the Privacy Policy and the Terms of Use.
